Danace, Master of the Thousand Pains, the Bloodfather, the Unsatisfied Questioner, the Bloodspiller, is a god of torture, sadism, and masochism.

He seeks knowledge through pain and unflinchingly sacrifices the living to understand the nature of life.

He appears as a hairless, blood-soaked man of pale skin and supernaturally bloodshot eyes. He wears a great coat of blood that constantly drips and flows but never runs dry.

His worship is popular amongst torturers, necromancers and inquisitors. His temples are often torture chambers converted for the purpose.

Danace is Lawful Evil and his domains are Evil and Trickery. His symbol is a scarlet droplet and his favored weapon is the short sword.

He substitutes for Afflux in the core books for purposes of feats, spells, prestige classes and magic items.
