Descended from Io's children Bahamut, Sardior or Tiamat, dragons are powerful reptilian creatures, and among the most powerful beings in the world. The dragon Father Claw was the first mortal being after the time of the first gods to ascend to immortality.
Dragons are highly territorial, and even dragons that are not objectively evil tend to give each other a great deal of space. Some dragons carve out kingdoms complete with servants or even worshippers, but many others dwell alone in their lairs. According to the Fables of Burdock, some dragons even dwell among humans, taking on their form. House Dallimothan in Ptolus is persistently dogged by rumors that some or all of its members are humanoid dragons themselves.
