Gax

The female green dragon known as Gax, who came to the dwarven settlement of Glangirn in IA 202, killing or driving off the residents, and making her lair there. Her kobold followers have occupied the meadows on the mountain for centuries, serving as servants and perimeter guards. Whatever Gax did in the darkness of Green Mountain, she did, for the most part, alone.

A decade ago, Gax was seen flying out of her mountain lair at midday, turning towards the west, and flying off. She has not been seen since. What happened to her, no one knows. Many of the residents of the barony believe her dead, while saying such among the Green Mountain Kobolds is punishable by death -- in fact, there's a cult among the kobolds that believe she has ascended to godhood instead.

Gax was an adult dragon at the time she conquered Glangirn. Five centuries later, she had grown larger and even more powerful, making it unlikely she had been driven off by force of arms.
