Glangirn
From Praemal
A dwarven fortress within Green Mountain, protected in part by a glacial lake.
The dwarves called it Glangirn, "Lost Mountain," long before the coming of Gax. It was originally a reference to the twisting passageways through the Underdark and the confusing (to the dwarves) way through the Tulgey Wood.
The survivors of Glangirn
Five hundred years after their home was conquered, the surviving dwarves and their descendants have split into two separate clans, Clan Glangirn and Clan Farrin.
On the whole, the survivors of Glangirn lead a shabby, tragic sort of life, and each generation produces fewer children than the generation before, and more of each generation moves away, to Grail Keep, Tarsis or points unknown. If their mountain is not retaken, there will be no more dwarves who call Glangirn their ancestral home within 200 years -- a single dwarf generation.
The king-in-exile of Glangirn, Thrushbeard, lives in Middleborough, where he perpetually schemes to retake "his" mountain.
