Gods of Praemal
From Praemal
Within the Tarsisian Empire, the Church of Lothian is by far the most dominant religion, especially amongst humans. In some regions, literally no other forms of worship can be found.
Lothian did not create the world, however -- a forgotten god (now simply refered to as the Creator, when he's refered to at all) and his children, the Elder Gods, did that -- and could be counted as one of many generations of successive "New Gods" that followed the time of the Elder Gods. According to the faith of Lothian, all gods other than Lothian, the Creator and the Elder Gods are actually demons, although as time has gone on, the church has allowed that some gods are actually divine, albeit lesser than Lothian. (It's never wise to assume a congregation will view any given New God as truly divine, however. Even in these enlightened days, people are burned at the stake for demon worship, particularly in rural regions of the empire.)
