Vinagrette Salad Dressing

ll right, this is the standard salad dressing in my parents' household, and I'm biased in favor of it over all comers. Not fancy, just good.

• 1/2 cup oil
• 1/4 cup vinegar
• 2 tsp. dijon mustard ("Pardon me, do you have any Grey Poupon?")
• 1 clove of garlic, pressed or minced
• 1 tsp of salt
• 1 tsp of ground pepper
• 1/2 tsp of sugar

That's it. Mix and pour over salad. I like to soak my salads, personally.
