I feel like a small helpless European country. Late last night, without warning, my iTunes software switched me over to the German iTunes store without me doing anything. (Switching back just required reentering my account information, at which time I was forcibly pushed back to the US store.)
Bizarre.
So, I watched all three episodes of this season’s Veronica Mars off TiVo this weekend. It’s a slow start, but I like them picking up last season’s rape story and making it into the first mystery arc of the season.
I did notice that about a dozen of the songs in the three episodes were songs I was listening to a year to six months ago. I don’t know that the whole world is listening to Neko Case or Regina Spektor, but still, it’s an odd feeling to have that all on the VM soundtrack. I’m trendy in the way that TV production types like. I’m not sure whether to be proud or deeply, deeply ashamed.
- And wow, Lindsey McKeon’s agent is doing good work for her this fall: I caught her on both VM and Supernatural this season (essentially back to back via the magic of TiVo).
As I said previously, I’m watching Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and ‘Till Death in the new TV season.
Well, maybe not for much longer, alas.
Just saying that I’m going will likely jinx this again, but Monday, I’m going to see a taping of William Shatner’s new game show, “Show Me the Money.”
That’s right: William Shatner. Game show. “Show Me the Money.”
You know you’re jealous.
- Something came up: The chamber of commerce is having a candidates’ forum Monday.
