  1. What would really help with a list like this, would be a link to where you got the latest versions of all those mods.

And maybe a description of what half of them did?

  2. You’re right. I just assembled all these lists because it looked like someone might have hacked my account. (In actuality, it’s someone who either mistakenly has gotten their account name confused with my own, or is trying to screw with me by getting the password reset and telling GMs it’s been hijacked.)

So I was just making a list for myself for after I reformatted my hard drive to remove the keylogger. It’s since become clear that I don’t have one, though. (I did everything including digging around, looking for a rootkit.)

All that said, I’ll edit this post in a day or so with locations and descriptions.

  3. Woo! I love giving people more work!

Plus, I’m running around with out-of-date calendar and armor-set-switching mods, and should really check out what people who actually know how to play the game, use on a regular basis…

  4. I use Windows Ace Updater to keep 95% of my mods up-to-date. You can run it once quickly before each WoW session (or once a week, or whenever you feel like it, and you’re good to go on almost everything.

  5. And I forgot a parenthesis, but there’s not an edit option. 🙁

  6. Your shame will live forever.
